TVF sends Kings to Middle East

A Middle Eastern broadcaster has acquired world affairs series The Price of Kings from distributor TVF International.

Middle East Broadcasting Network (MBN) has picked up rights to the 3x52′ series, which is due to be launched in Cannes.

Meanwhile, TVF has added a range of content to its slate for Mipcom, including Breaking The Taboo (1x52′), a film about he UN’s war on drugs made by Sam Branson’s prodco Sundog Pictures.

BBC miniseries Order and Disorder (2x52′) sees Jim Al-Khalili explore the science behind energy and communication, while Storyline Entertainment’s The Real Inglorious Bastards (1x52′) and The Real Sherlock Holmes (1x52′) have also been added.

Other new acquisitions include Investigation Discovery’s My Brother the Serial Killer (2x46′), from Essential Media, and Road Madness (8x30′), a clip show featuring footage from the US, Australia and New Zealand of close calls and near misses on the road.
