Each episode of Life is Precious shares the story of a person who lives with a rare disease, and has a dream which they are determined to make a reality. These dreams, goals and ambitions may sound ordinary for people without a disability, but pose significant challenges for those living with rare conditions to overcome and achieve.

Throughout the series, each character will find motivations in their own journey to reach their goals, supported by friends, family and health professionals. From Laíssa, who has Spinal Medullary Atrophy and is a Paralympic gold medalist, and Beatriz, who has Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, to Davi who lives with a rare type of dwarfism, learn how these people overcome the limitations imposed by their diseases, in their own unique way, to achieve their dreams.
