The Ozempic Effect Heads to Netflix

The Ozempic Effect: Beyond the Waistline, a CBC-commissioned documentary represented by TVF International, has been sold to Netflix in the U.K. and Ireland.

The 54-minute documentary tracks the scientific breakthroughs behind Ozempic and its far-reaching social impacts and follows real-time personal weight loss stories.

The documentary is set to premiere on Netflix in the U.K. and Ireland on February 27.

TVF International launched The Ozempic Effect at MIPCOM and has since sold it to SBS in Australia, Movistar Plus+ in Spain, RTP in Portugal, RTV in Slovenia and HRT in Croatia.
