This series features Betty, the London bus that has travelled the world. Six twenty-somethings are faced with the challenge of taking the bus from London via Canada to Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost point of South America, the freezing Ushuaia on Tierra del Fuego. As the crew experience the highs and lows of travelling and living together for eight months, they journey through some of the world's most spectacular countries, including the USA, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile.

The plot thickens with such events as the bus breaking down in Belize, a break-in in Ecuador and a crash on a mountain top. However, horse-riding, clubbing, beach-visits and some touching moments between the partakers allow for much entertainment and light relief amidst the drama. Fast moving and fun, the series is highly entertaining and gripping. Follow the adventurous individuals from the initial casting sessions in the English countryside, the blossoming of romances, disputes, breathtaking landscapes, through to the last episode where with only two weeks and 3,000 miles remaining, the question of whether the bus will reach its final destination, Tierra del Fuego, hangs in the balance.
