This series takes a powerful and intimate look at the people who are living at little known, mysterious borderlines between two countries, how they struggle to survive and thrive in very unique circumstances.

From Kinmen Island, the last place China and Taiwan fought, to the notorious Laotian casino town of Golden Boten, to the disputed Tawi-Tawi maritime region between Philippines and Malaysia, and the complex Bangladeshi-Indian border, the series shows how individuals are marginalised, fleeing events in their own countries, and how they go in search of income and stability that comes from being on the other side of the border.

It's a unique way of life that combines cultures and practices from across two countries. It echoes a shared sense of belonging, friendship and many times, rivalry, and most importantly, the conflicting sentiment of dual identities.
