The Dune People

1 x 52 HD
Broadcaster:  France TV

On a Normandy beach, groundbreaking archaeological discoveries prompt a team of archaeologists to delve into a Celtic civilization whose culture seems totally apart from the rest of Gaul.

Beneath the pristine sands, remarkably preserved remains gradually emerge. However, the team must hurry as marine erosion threatens to irreversibly erase the last traces of lives led by the inhabitants between the 2nd and 1st century BCE. Bit by bit, the investigation provides insights into the way of life embraced by this coastal community and the links they forged with both the Mediterranean and the inhabitants of the island of Brittany, in present-day England.

Combining access to archaeological dig sites, expert testimony, and incredible CGI, this award winning doc reveals the secrets of these dune people for the very first time.
