In the remote and harsh landscapes of northern Mongolia, Doctor Suvdaa braves the elements to ensure the region's nomadic farmers have access to urgent medical care. There are no roads and no signs where Doctor Suvdaa works. The nomadic farmers are scattered across the icy region, and they are on the move.
Day and night, Suvdaa travels the long distances between isolated families on her motorbike, sometimes up to 200km apart, over frozen terrain.
This evening, she is called in for an emergency: a baby has an extremely high fever. She puts on her shoes, grabs her medical bag and rides as fast as she can towards the family.
