During a month-long trip, our host Manchán Magan sets out to show us why train travel is the future. He uses the vast rail network system to travel clockwise around the continent of Europe, visiting a range of destinations including Wales, London, Brussels, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Zagreb, Lake Bled, Genoa, Monaco, Toulouse and San Sebastien.

Against these changing backdrops of stunning scenery, Manchán calculates his carbon footprint along the way and samples different modes of environmentally conscious transport – from e-scooters and walking to funiculars and bicycles.
