Beneath the Mediterranean coast lie shipwrecks steeped in mystery. For centuries, these European seas have witnessed war and enabled Imperial trade, and under their surface lie wrecks containing forgotten tales of combat and unknown tragedies of loss.

Follow a team of skilled divers as they descend over 60 metres to explore the secrets hidden among the remains of these submerged giants. Using historical archive, expert analysis and 3D recreations, the team will uncover not only the circumstances surrounding these sunken ships, but also the identity of the wrecks themselves.  

Their discoveries reveal a dramatic past and shed light on the importance of environmental protection for our oceans – particularly when history is hidden deep beneath the waves.
